WHAT THE WORLD THINKS OF TED KENNEDY
Mood:  party time!
I received this article in an email a few days back and I thought it was worthy of placing in this blog.

Subject: What The World Thinks Of Ted Kennedy

Disregarding the political retoric, finally the media has printed what the world must think of the likes of Ted Kennedy.
Tony Phyrill! as, a columnist for The Mercury, a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper in Pottstown, Pa.
Ted Kennedy, clown prince of the Senate By Tony Phyrillas

That Ted Kennedy is a Democrat is irrelevant. That Ted Kennedy is a liberal doesn't matter, either. The fact that Ted Kennedy is a buffoon should be of concern to all of Americans. The United States, collectively, should be embarrassed to have Ted Kennedy serving in the Senate.

So many liberals are concerned about America's image abroad. They coddle the corrupt United Nations because it matters to them how America is perceived. If anyone outside the United States watched Kennedy's performance during the confirmation hearings for Judge Samuel Alito, they would come away with only one impression of the state of American politics.

The circus has come to town. The only thing missing from Kennedy's wardrobe was a red rubber nose and oversized shoes.Do the voters of Massachusetts realize that Ted Kennedy is regarded as a court jester in the other 49 states?

What does that say about residents of Massachusetts and their blind obedience to a political antique who rode his dead brothers' coattails to the national spotlight four decades ago? The gene pool dried up by the time Joseph and Rose Kennedy had young Teddy.

I propose a Constitutional amendment prohibiting Massachusetts from voting in national elections until the good folks of the Bay State stop electing the likes of Ted Kennedy and John Forbes Kerry to the Senate.

When it comes to politics, Republicans are good at policing their own. Tom Delay was the most powerful member of the House of Representatives a year ago. Delay hasn't been convicted of any crime and his indictment by a Democratic prosecutor in Texas is politically motivated. But DeLay had become damaged goods for the party. He was a lightning rod for the left-wing attack dogs.

Republicans took care of their problem. Delay is no longer in a position of authority and his days in Congress are numbered.Liberals refuse to deal with embarrassments like Ted Kennedy or Dick Durban or Barbara Boxer. Kennedy, the captain of the Chappaquiddick Swim Team, has been in the Senate for 44 years. Durban compared American soldiers fighting in Iraq to "Nazis." Boxer is just plain batty.

By the time the Alito hearings were done, all Kennedy could show his radical left puppet masters was the ability to bring Alito's wife, Martha-Ann, to tears with absurd accusations that Judge Alito was a bigot because he joined a conservative college club at Princeton that wouldn't admit women and minorities. By the way, Alito will be confirmed by the Senate with at least 60 votes.

Imagine if the tables had been reversed. How would Ted Kennedy like to answer questions about his past, specifically, the suspicious and untimely death of Mary Jo Kopechne? For those not old enough to remember, Mary Jo Kopechne was a 28-year-old woman that a married Ted Kennedy was driving home after a party on Martha's Vineyard.

Kennedy was one of five married men at the party, which was also attended by six young single women. On July 18, 1969, Kennedy, driving on an expired driver's license, drove his car off a narrow wooden bridge into a pond on the tiny island of Chappaquiddick, adjacent to Martha's Vineyard. The car sank in eight-feet of water, landing on its roof.

Kennedy saved himself, walked back to the cottage where the party was taking place and told a couple of his buddies about the crash. Kennedy didn't report the accident to police until the next day when Kopechne's body was fished out of the water. Kennedy was never charged in Kopechne's death, this was Massachusetts after all, but Kennedy's presidential ambitions drowned with Kopechne.

He did plead guilty to leaving the scene of an accident and was given a two-month suspended sentence and a year's probation. Here's a man with a history of alcoholism who caused the death of a woman attempting to smear the good name of a judge because Alito joined a college club the liberals don't approve. Only in America.

Led by Kennedy, Senate Democrats made fools of themselves during the Alito hearings. The site of a bunch of liberal millionaires attempting to tarnish the stellar reputation of a man who grew up in a working class Italian neighborhood in Newark, N.J., speaks volume about how disconnected Democrats have become from the country. This is not the party of the working man, the immigrant and the churchgoer.

This is the party of Ivy League snobs, of West Coast loons, the radical left and the abortion-on-demand lobby. This is a party that couldn't find the American heartland if you gave them a map and pointed them in the right direction. It's a party led by cynics grasping at straws as they see their grip on political power slip away.

If Democrats want to know why they're becoming the permanent minority party, look no further than the rogue's gallery they have for leaders: Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, Howard Dean, John Forbes Kerry, Dick Durbin, Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden.

Ted Kennedy, who turns 74 in February, joined the Senate in 1962. He's running for re-election in November and will probably retain his Senate seat until he's 80. Someday there will be no Ted Kennedy. And the world will be a better place.

DEAR OLD LIBERAL FEMINIST, CINDY SHEEHAN
Mood:  spacey
TOPIC: POOR OLD CINDY

Subject: The real Cindy Sheehan. Wonder why the lousy liberal news press not telling you about dear old cindy???

Want to know the truth about Ms. Sheehan?

What is most interesting is that the press gives this little bunch of people who are protesting with Cindy so much air time without discussing Cindy's background. This is a case of more press bias.

It has been pointed out on just a couple of media outlets that Cindy divorced her first husband and left her son with him to be raised while she became a political activist for the Democrat Party. She had very little to do with her son in his growing years. She remarried.

The 1st husband remarried. The original father raised the son with his new wife. They miss their son and mourn the loss of his life. They have stated that they are very proud of their son and that they agree with the stance of American Iraq and on terror. They said that their son was eager to serve and to go fight the terrorists in Iraq. He volunteered. How many news stations carried their interview? Not many.

So the son dies in Iraq and then Cindy shows up to make a stink. She gets an audience with Bush. That was not enough. She goes to Crawford and demands another audience. How many news stations carry the ongoing saga of Cindy? Practically all of them. Cindy didn't care about her son. She let another woman raise him. Cindy doesn't care about the other soldiers in Iraq. Cindy cares about her liberal, feminist agenda and about using the death of her son to lobby against Republicans and Bush. And the press is helping her. Why?

Then 2 days ago, Cindy's 2nd husband filed for a divorce from Cindy. Cindy sounds like a feminist opportunist who did not have the sense of responsibility to even raise her own son. It looks like her 2nd husband is fed up with Cindy. We middle Americans should be fed up with Cindy also. We should be fed up with the press. they manipulate us into their "group think" and into the responses that they want on their polls.

DEAR CONCERNED CITIZEN
Mood:  silly
Topic: Concerned Citizen
I received this in an E-mail, so I couldn't resist posting it on my Blog. It is so funny!

A person wrote a letter to the White House complaining about the treatment of a captive taken during the Afghanistan war. Below is a copy of the response.

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, D.C.

Dear Concerned Citizen,

Thank you for your recent letter criticizing our treatment of the Taliban and Al Qaeda detainees currently held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The administration takes these matters seriously, and your opinion was heard loud and clear here in Washington. You'll be pleased to learn that, thanks to the concerns of citizens like you, we are creating the Terrorist Retraining Program, to be called the "Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers" program, or LARK for short. In accordance with the guidelines of this new program, we have decided to place one terrorist under your personal care.

Your detainee has been selected and scheduled for transportation to your residence next Monday. Ali Mohammed Ahmed bin Mahmud is to be cared for pursuant to the standards you personally demanded in your letter of admonishment. We will conduct weekly inspections to ensure that your standards of care for Ahmed are commensurate with those you so strongly recommended in your letter.

Although Ahmed is sociopathic and extremely violent, we hope that your sensitivity to what you described as his "attitudinal problem" will help him overcome this character flaw. Perhaps you are correct in describing these problems as mere cultural differences.

Your adopted terrorist is extremely proficient in hand-to-hand combat and can extinguish human life with such simple items as a pencil or nail clippers. He is also expert at making a wide variety of explosive devices from common household products, so you may wish to keep those items locked up, unless you feel that this might offend him.

Ahmed will not wish to interact with your wife or daughters since he views females as a sub-human form of property. This is a particularly sensitive subject for him. He has been known to show violent tendencies around women who fail to comply with the dress code that he considers appropriate, but I'm sure that over time they will come to enjoy the anonymity offered by the bhurka. Just remind them that it is all part of respecting his culture and his religious beliefs.

Thanks again for your letter. We truly appreciate it when folks like you inform us of the proper way to do our job. Take good care of Ahmed and good luck!

Cordially,
Don Rumsfeld

Topic: Strange Way to Post
As I add new entries I alway want to post and keep my entries in a descending order by Date.(Smile)

That's the old fashion way of doing things I guess because I was taught to read and write from left to right and go down the page. But it seems that the Oriental style has won out. (right to left and up)

SOCIAL SECURITY
Mood:  irritated
Topic: Social Security
Among the seemingly unlimited number of insults this administration has schemed up to shaft and roll-over the little guy, is the question of social security (or, rather, since Babba got a hold of it, social insecurity) reform. He doesn’t really want to reform social security, that’s just more of his flim-flam, what he really wants to do is to screw over every little guy in America, and reward, his buddies within the financial sectors. His scheme is precisely a way to do that.

Babba keeps on about how the social security system is in grave danger. I don’t think he has a clue about social security. He doesn’t give a dang about such things, and he has demonstrated that over and over. Nor do I think he really understands it much beyond “Give to my friends".

Bubba, thinks that it would be to the worker’s advantage, but anytime you hear Bubba talking about the little guy in public, it’s just some more of his flim-flam – it’s really as simply, and as sad, as all that, and to have their social security monies invested in the stock market (where the greedy little pigs can get their hands upon it), then it is to have government control and invest (actually they mostly spend it years before they even get it – it goes into the general U.S. treasury) it in the workers’ behaves.

That’s his argument in a nutshell. First to instill fear: social security is in great peril. Second to get his greedy little paws upon it in order to help you (sheeesh, to think he gets away with this stuff is unbelievable), you can invest your own money in the market, it’s your money, you deserve it, blah, blah, blah. And third: to go back to Texas where all of his cronies will slap him on the back and congratulate him on the huge heist he has just pulled off. Camera fades as Babba’s buddies pop more corks on more Champaign, and Babba heads off to go to bed early. In the background can be seen Laura watching “Desperate Housewives” on the TV. Her hair is up in curlers.

I WROTE A LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT
Mood:  mischievious
Topic: PRESIDENT
We wrote a letter to President Bush, knowing full well we would never hear anything back from him or even some clerk in the white house. And we didn't hear anything back. (Smile) But anyway......

March 31, 2005

To: President George Bush.

My very first comment is that many years ago when I was in school and studied our form of Government, It seemed to me that this nations constitution was written in such a manner that the nation was supposed to be ruled by, and for the people, which doesn't seem to be the case anymore, totally.

Well today was a continuance of very sad days for the United States. Our nation having already murdered 40,000,000 to 50,000,000 babies through our abortion murder mills, has now justified murdering a innocent disabled women, Terri Schiavo.

----------------

President Bush, while thinking about the text of this email, the thought occurred to me and my question would be, WHAT'S NEXT? I wondered if maybe the next thing to happen in this nation, would be the black robed judges might decide, why not just murder all citizens that become 60 years old, and just think what a benefit that would be for the politicians of this nation.

1. It would solve the Social Security problems you have been talking about.

2. There wouldn't be anymore Social Security monthly payments to senior citizens.

3. Congress could continue using their (Social Security) petty cash fund like they have for the last 50 to 60 years and no worry to fix it.

4. The Medicare health plan could be canceled.

There just isn't any end to all the benefits the federal government could enjoy.

-------------------

This murder being authorized generally by a republican party BLACK ROBE judicial branch that has taken total control of this nation. It would appear that both the Executive and Legislative branches were in essence told to BUTT out.

What is it that these two government branches don't understand? I'm a 73 year old male that have always been a republican, which will now change I might add, but even I understand where the U.S. Congress stands, and that is they are like three (3) five year old kids playing in their sandbox and when one of them steal the other ones toy, all they get done is fight, and fuss, and that has been going on for years, but what happen to the Executive branch with the Executive order power?

I recently sent letters and emails to my Colorado, U.S. Congressmen (Senators and Representative) and voiced my concern about some serious problems with federal judges making their own laws, rules and executing their own personal agenda. All I got back in reply was some generic written letters from some office clerk that couldn't get anything right if it slapped them in their face, because the letters I received back, which wasn't many, had nothing to do with my questions asked.

Another interesting point about Terri Schiavo's death, it was ordered and authorized by an adulterer husband of many years and was approved and authorized by judge george geer, a republican judge.

Oh also Governor bush took the easy way out, saying he couldn't do anything. Probably because it might have an effect on his political career.

***********************************

But, I'm reminded that in many of the different books of the Bible, (KJV) telling us that the very things that have just happened to Terri Schiavo will bring judgment to this Nation. We are in the last days, and in the last days, Nations leaders will declare what is right is wrong, and what is wrong is right, so they can justify their sins and God will turn their minds to a reprobate mind, and that's where we are at today.

President Bush, I know you have got to be aware that God wrote the 10 commandants, and one of them says THOU SHALL NOT KILL. I will not be surprise to see that this Nation and especially the State of Florida will see days of terrible things happen because of what has happened with Terri Schiavo in these last few days. God is a just God and justice will come and accountability will surely come in an overwhelming and destructive way.

It may have already started, and I'm referring to what is already happening to this Nation and to the State of Florida just these last few years with all the very destructive things often referred to as act of nature, but these things are increasing at an alarming rate.

MAY THIS ENCOURAGE YOU ALWAYS
Mood:  happy
Topic: ENCOURAGEMENT
Don't spend major time with minor people. If there are people in your life that continually disappoint you, break promises, stomp on your dreams, too judgmental, have different values, and you don't have their backing for you during difficult times . . . that is not a friend.

To have a friend, be a friend. Sometimes in life as you grow, your friends will either grow or go.

Surround yourself with people who reflect values, goals, interests, and lifestyle.

When I think of any of my successes, I am thankful to GOD from whom all blessings flow, and to my family and friends that enrich my life.

Over the years my phone book has changed because I changed for the better. At first you think you're going to be alone, but after a while new people show up in your life that make your life so much sweeter and easier to endure.

Remember what your elders used to say, "Birds of a feather flock together. If you're an eagle, don't hang around chickens: Chickens Can't Fly!

I love the Lord and thank Him for all that he does in my life, therefore, I'm passing this on. Yes, I do love Jesus. He is my source of existence and Savior.

He keeps me functioning each and everyday. Without Him, I will be nothing. Without Him, I am nothing but with Him I can do all things. Phil 4:13

If you love God, Be Positive - Be Progressive - Take
the time to make a positive difference in someone's life.

Walk by faith . . .
Not by sight . . .
Receive God's Blessings!
